Christophe Thévignot

With over 20 years of experience in European affairs, knowledge management, communications and information technology, I am Senior Research & Innovation Account Manager at ARCTIK, a Brussels-based agency part of the Technopolis Group that provides communication and evaluation services for public and private clients in the fields of environment, climate, energy, science and social innovation.

At ARCTIK, I lead communication and stakeholder engagement activities on Research & Innovation projects, such as Expect, Ruralitic, AEIP 2.0, Eye of Europe, Myriad EU, EOSC Future, ORCaSa, Receipt, PolarRes, DWC, and more. I also serve as the Data Protection Officer, overseeing data protection strategy and implementation to ensure compliance with GDPR requirements.

In addition, I am an External Lecturer at Université Paris Cergy, where I teach European environmental and climate policies and the conduct of European environmental and climate projects to Master's students. I have a passion for education and knowledge sharing, and I enjoy working with a diverse and dynamic group of learners.

My core competencies include communication strategy, marketing communications, international relations, data protection, knowledge management, and information technology. I have a strong background in European projects, having worked as the coordinator of the LIFE Programme external communications team, as a senior consultant at Publicis Consultants for the CORDIS service, and as a consultant for DG Comm on public opinion surveys and publications. I also have experience in the telecom sector, as a brand manager at Belgacom.

I hold a Master of Business from INPAC ESMA, a Master of Law and Business from Holborn College, and a Master of Sciences of Language from Université Paris Cité. I am fluent in French, English, and Spanish, and I have an in-depth knowledge of technology, the Internet, data mining, and computer science topics. I am motivated by the challenges and opportunities of working on innovative and impactful projects that contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive society.
